Tyler & Tatum

This past Sunday, Tyler & Tatum had a play date! The Tooley's (Jackie, Jarrett & Tatum) came over to our house and it was so much fun to see the similarities between Tyler & Tatum! For those of you who may not remember past photos of Tatum on the blog, Tatum was born only 3 days after Tyler! It is really amazing to see that they are so similar in their development. And they are both so cute!

This was really funny. Tyler kept opening the "laptop" and Tatum kept closing it. Over and over and over!

Jackie was reading stories to the babies but they couldn't decide on one book. They kept picking up new ones after a few pages.

Almost there!

Ok, so I ended up taking quite a long hiatus from the blog. It really was not entirely my fault. I had a string of technical issues that made it really hard for me to get any photos for the blog. And its no fun to have photoless blog posts! First my computer broke. And actually it still isn't fixed, amazingly. I really need to work on that. For the record, I am not a fan of Dell.... I have had nothing but problems with every Dell computer I have had. And then on top of it, once my photography class started, we use Mac computers in the class. And for whatever reason even though it should have been compatible, the external hard drive that I used for class that stored all of my images was not compatible with my PC at home. So I wasn't able to access ANY of my photos from home for the past few months for the duration of my class. And still, today, I cannot access them on this PC! Blaaaaahhhhhh! BUT, the great news is: I just bought a Mac laptop today! So once I get the software up and running and get everything ready on there I will be in business again! Yay!

I know it has been a while since my last post. This time, there is a good reason! My computer's motherboard died and I haven't had it for a few weeks now. I haven't been able to get into any of my photos or anything like that. I should have my laptop back this week!!! I will update asap once I can get through some pics!

Tyler & Aspen

Great Grandma & Grandpa

Last month, we got some new photos of Tyler with his Great Grandma & Great Grandpa. We cherish this time that he has with them. He may not remember them when he is older, so I try to take photos when I can! They just love Tyler so much, and it is apparent how much joy it brings to them when we all get together!

Tyler & Bear

Tyler's buddy Bear is about 7 months older. It is fun to watch them grow together and see the different stages that they go through. This photo was taken several weeks before Joe & Julie had baby #2!

Now that Tyler is much more mobile on his own, he loves to play in his room! There is so much stuff in there to explore, and he really loves to dig through his toys and books. He also loves to grab onto the furniture in there and cruise around!

Auntie Rachel gave Tyler this fun toy. On the front is a big orange face. On the back, is a clear panel and inside there are a bunch of little things that Tyler can see when he moves it around.

Escaped! Tyler loves to crawl all over the whole house! If we want to keep him in one area, we have to either close the doors or put up a fence to contain him, otherwise he will go everywhere in the house.

Tyler & a wood block

Tyler has some wood blocks that are different shapes and have different colored clear panes. Inside, they have various things that make different noises when you shake them. He really loves them and it entertains him for quite a while when he plays with them.

Teeth

I have such a hard time getting photos of Tyler's teeth! He doesn't like to open his mouth on command so that I can get a good shot of them. This is quite an old photo, from early April, but it shows at least a few of his little pearly whites! He now has 7 teeth, and there is 1 more that has been just under the surface for the past few weeks. He has 4 on the bottom, 3 on the top, and the other 1 that is almost in is also on the top. I can't believe how many teeth he has! A few times, I was flossing my teeth, and I flossed Tyler's teeth too! He thought it was so funny!

Grandma is probably going to be mad at me for posting this photo, but I just had to. I think it's so funny, I went into Tyler's room one day and found them sleeping just like this!

Scrunchy face

A few months ago, Tyler started to do this scrunchy face. For a while when he first started to do it, he was doing it all the time. Now he still does it but not as often. The funny thing, is I used to make the same face when I was a baby! My parents have pictues of me doing it. This is not the best video of it, but he sort of does it a few times. I will try to find a better video!

Our watchdog Chloe

Even after she had just had her second knee surgery, Chloe still was our resident watchdog!

What a good sister Aspen is! After Chloe's surgery, she would lie next to Chloe, even though she didn't have to stay confined like Chloe. Often she would want to go sit inside the fence where Chloe was. It was so sweet, especially if you know Aspen. She normally does not like to be confined for any reason!

Daddy got a new snowboard (very early Fathers Day gift) and Tyler was checking it out! Daddy is already ready to put Tyler on a snowboard next winter but Mommy says No Way!

Mommy's Birthday part 2

The day after my Birthday party at our house, we went to dinner with my family to celebrate. I had a great time!

Mommy's Birthday!

For my Birthday, we had a party at our house. I had a great time and felt very loved! There were about 45 people who came! Sadly though, I do not have many pictures at all of the party. :(

Scott had this cake made and the inside was red velvet cake with vanilla filling with chocolate chips.
