He loves to fall asleep on his tummy. We don't let him sleep like this in his crib since it is bad but sometimes when we are carrying him he falls asleep like this.

A few weeks ago I got brave and put Tyler in the baby pouch, and I took him, Chloe and Aspen out for a walk. Surprisingly it wasn't as chaotic as I thought it was going to be being out with both dogs and Tyler! Now I love taking them all out like this. Actually I realize now that he really loves being in the pouch because it is "womb like" and he passes out in there every time.

He loves laying on his diaper changing pad for some reason. We have not been able to figure out why, but he really does love laying on it!

Busy weekend

This past weekend Tyler had lots of visitors! Here are pics of some of them.

Friday night we had a group of friends from OC come visit. Ross Gielow was the only one though who didn't already make an appearance with Tyler on the blog.

Saturday Katie & Brenton Woolworth came to visit Tyler. Scott and I went to a wedding Saturday night and they were also invited so we thought it was a perfect time for them to come meet Tyler before the wedding since they live all the way down in Laguna Hills and the wedding was near us in LA.

Believe it or not this is Tyler's Auntie Stella! She is 4 years old.

Great Uncle Randy, Great Aunt Darcie and Auntie Stella drove all the way to our house from Murietta on Sunday! Stella had a great time with Tyler and also playing with Chloe and Aspen!

Uncle Darrin

Uncle Darrin and Maritza gave Tyler this cute little doggy outfit. Uncle Darrin even picked it out all by himself! He was actually quite proud of his choice...

Chloe & Aspen

Tyler is starting to pay more attention to Chloe and Aspen now. Before, it didn't even phase him if Chloe or Aspen would lick his face or sniff him. Once, Chloe even licked him right on the lips and he didn't seem to mind! Now he is starting to pay more attention to them and he seems to be watching them a little more when they are close by him.

Grandma tried to get Tyler to hitch a ride with Aspen. It didn't work out very well though.

Visitors

I admit I have been bad about taking pictures of everyone with Tyler... I have missed a few people, but hopefully Tyler will see them again soon so we can get photos! Here are some of Tyler's recent visitors.

Tyler's Great Auntie Virginia

Scott, Tyler and I took a trip down to Orange County so that we could all meet Tatum. She was born only 3 days after Tyler! They were so cute when we put them on the blanket together, both of them were kicking and stretching. It was just cutest thing to see them since they are so close in age and size! We are looking forward to many more play dates in the future!

This is Tatum's Mom Jackie. PS: I swear I do not still look that preggers... I think my dress was just poofing out funny so it looks like I haven't given birth yet....

Destaye came to visit Tyler, he had so much fun with her!

Scott's friend Jesse came to visit this past Sunday. Scott and Tyler had a big day alone together that day! I was at a bridal shower for a friend so they had daddy and son bonding time.

Blue bear

Tyler got this blue bear as a gift the day after he was born. It was given to him by his Aunt Vickie, Uncle Ron, cousin Casey and cousin Sean. I wish that I would have taken photos of him with it from day 1 because I just can't get over how much bigger Tyler has grown. It is very apparent when I see him next to this bear. He used to be half the size of it.

Photo shoot

A few weeks ago (when Tyler was 3 weeks old) we had some photos taken of him. Here are a few of them!

New development

Just today I noticed that Tyler's eyes have a slightly different color. From birth they were a dark grey color. Now they have a green tint to them! I think he is developing Scott's (green) eye color which is exciting!

Tyler seems to really be changing fast now. I am noticing changes in his facial features already! Here are a few new pics from a few days ago.

Tummy time

From the first day he was born, Tyler was already holding his head up. But we still need to have him spend some time on his tummy which we are trying to be better at. So far he isn't really doing much, so hopefully he will eventually try to push himself up although that isn't supposed to happen for a few more months!

Handprints

Last week we finally got Tyler's hand and foot prints in his baby book. It was quite a task getting his handprints down on paper. He didn't want to open his hands up to get it in the ink or on the page, he was trying to keep them tight in fists. It was really funny seeing him with all of that black ink all over the place. It was pretty messy!

1 month old!

Time is really flying by, Tyler already had his 1 month birthday on Monday! We went in for his checkup at the pediatrician. He weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and measures 22 inches in length. He is in the 22nd percentile for weight and the 50th percentile for length.

Tyler's many faces

Tyler has many facial expressions. Unfortunately I don't usually get them on camera since they happen so spur of the moment and I don't always have my camera handy. Here are a few new photos of him, they were taken last Friday when he was 4 weeks old.

I know, the sleeping photos are nothing new but I still love them!

Tyler's first bath

Last week Tyler got his first real bath! We had been giving him spongebaths until then. We weren't sure how he was going to react to this new experience but we were pleasantly surprised! We put him in the bathtub and he never cried... Until we had to take him out! He loved being in there so much!
