Getting bigger

I just can't get over how much Tyler is changing week by week! He is getting bigger and more interactive every day. Scott was gone for almost 2 weeks to China this week and last week and he could definitely see the changes that had happened just while he was away.

Tyler's first pumpkin patch!

Last weekend we met up with a few friends at Tanaka Farms in Irvine. Since Tyler is still so little and can't run around yet, mostly we just went so we would have some cute pictures of Tyler! Here are my favorites.

Tyler crashed out after the tiring "photo shoot" on the haystack! Unfortunately Amber (and Mike) came to visit Tyler but he was sleeping the whole time. Amber's two kids were also with her but unfortunately we didn't get any photos of them since they were too busy running around in the corn maze! Her kids are 5 and 8!

Tummy Time (10 weeks old)

Tyler continues to get stronger and stronger every week. Sometimes he is ok with tummy time and doesn't seem to mind it, but if you catch him in the wrong mood he isn't very happy about it. Last week he was in a mellow mood and stayed on his tummy for quite a while. Two days later, on Saturday October 17th, he flipped over from his tummy to his back all by himself for the first time! I didn't get any pictures that day though.... I find that tummy time is a great time to get some funny pictures of Tyler's facial expressions. Since he is using his muscles to try to push himself up, I am able to catch lots of different looks on his face!

Welcome Madison!

We were surprised to get a text message two Saturdays ago letting us know that Tyler's new friend Madison was here a week early! Madison's Mom Jen was scheduled for a c-section on Friday 10/16 but ended up having to go in a week early to have an emergency c-section. Mommy and baby are healthy and happy!

Tyler got to meet his new little friend when she was only 1 day old!

Even though Tyler is not even 3 months old yet, baby Madison felt so tiny to me compared to Tyler! Another reminder of just how fast he is growing!!

Baby robe

Tyler got this adorable robe from my friend Megan Lewis. She gave it to me at my baby shower. I had tried it on Tyler before, but at the time he was so tiny still that he was really swimming in the robe. I guess Scott didn't know we had it because last week he came out of Tyler's room saying that he didn't know Tyler had his own robe and why didn't I tell him about this? He was way too excited to put it on Tyler!

Strong neck

Tyler's neck has been strong since birth. He was able to hold his head up from day 1. He is doing great with his tummy time! The pediatrician said he has great head control when we went to his 2 month checkup.
