Another little friend on the way!

My friend Margot who lives in Denver is having a baby in a few weeks! I planned our trip to Colorado so that I would be able to make her baby shower. I have never been to a baby shower with SO many babies! I think there were 7, all under 1 year old!

Dinner in Denver

We drove into Denver from Beaver Creek because I had a baby shower to go to. The night before the shower, we went to dinner with some friends in Denver.

We had so much fun playing with Tyler & Zoe! We hope we will be able to get them together again soon to play. It will be even more fun next time when they are even more interactive with each other.

Here we all are at the base of Vail mountain. We didn't want to take Tyler out of the stroller because it was snowing and pretty cold.

Horse drawn sleigh

After we went to Aspen, we drove down to Beaver Creek, which is very close to Vail, Colorado. We love this resort, besides Aspen it is our favorite in Colorado! We went to a restaurant while we were there that had a horse drawn sleigh ride. We were a bit mislead by the concierge at our hotel. She said that we had to take the horse drawn sleigh to get to the restaurant, which ended up not being the case. I felt really bad because we only did it because we thought we had to, and it was sooooooo cold. Poor little Tyler!

Inside the restaurant. Tyler was very distracted by everything in this place. The candles, fireplace, people, lady playing the piano, stone/log walls...

They had a fireplace that was open on both sides, so you could see right thru it. We were trying to take a photo in front of the fire but we kept getting the back of Tyler's head because he was so busy watching the fire. So Scott figured this was the only way to get a picture of his face!

They had an ice sculpture snowman in front of the restaurant. It was really cool and it had been out there for over 2 months!

Playdate with Zoe

Tyler and Zoe had so much fun playing together while we were in Aspen! While the Mommies and Daddies went snowboarding, they stayed in our suite and played with the babysitter. They were both so good!

Tyler was so busy chomping on every toy he could get his hands on, while Zoe was very curious about him.

We realize now that we are home that we think he must be getting in some new teeth because he seems to be teething like crazy. Actually, it's worse than when he got his first 2 teeth in.

In the boutique at the Viceroy Snowmass, they had these fuzzy earmuffs! Tyler & Zoe looked too cute with them on!

Fun in Aspen

We were so lucky to be able to spend time in Aspen with good friends. We had a great time, and it was made even better by being able to spend time with Shadia, Vu, Zoe, Andi & Tim!

Tyler met Andi for the first time in Aspen.

It was nearly impossible to get a photo with both babies looking the same direction at the same time! They are at the age where everything is interesting, and they are so curious. Zoe is 8 months old.

Sometimes even just getting 1 baby to look at the camera is impossible!
