Looking at this cute little face makes me smile. I took this photo with my new cell phone.

Tyler loves his Grandma
Tyler fell asleep in his favorite sleeping position on Grandma. I can't believe how much he has already grown, which is very apparent to me seeing him in this photo. His one month check up at the pediatrician is next Tuesday, I am curious to see how much weight he has gained and how much longer he has gotten already!

Cheers!
Sunday night Scott and I had a special treat. My Mom watched Tyler while we went out to our favorite restaurant in Los Angeles called Providence. I had my first alcoholic beverage that evening since last year in October! Of course it is no surprise to many of you that I would choose a glass of champagne to celebrate our first night out!

Milk coma
Scott was feeding Tyler and he passed out in the middle of eating. I thought it was funny that he ended up like this with his bib still on.

Weekend visitors
Megan & Will Lewis came to visit Tyler for the first time. He was having a grumpy day on this day, sorry Meg & Will! Please come back again soon, hopefully we will be having a better day!
Adreana Rotenberry is Scott's first cousin. She lives in Northern California but was down in San Diego with her Mom for the weekend. They drove all the way up to LA just to meet Tyler!

3 weeks old
I can't believe Tyler is 3 weeks old today! I feel like time has gone so fast yet at the same time I feel like he has been a part of our lives for much longer. Already he has grown and changed so much. It is hard to believe that 3 weeks ago he was still inside my tummy! Scott and I are still getting used to our new non-schedule. We are sleeping in 2-3 hour shifts when we can. Scott has taken to diaper duty quite well! My Mom has been coming up to help us out a few days each week which has been a huge help. I am grateful to have her here.

Tyler already has many different facial expressions.
I often watch him wondering what he is thinking.
More visitors
This past week Tyler had more visitors. He is already feeling so loved by everyone. Thank you to all who have come by to meet him!

Tyler's sisters have been staying with their grandparents but have come for a few visits. I have missed having them here at the house, but I have been grateful that my Mom has been taking care of them while I have been recovering from surgery. I got a photo of them all together today, and also managed to get the second photo of Tyler smiling! He loves Chloe and Aspen already!

Tyler smiles a lot but I hadn't been able to catch any of his precious smiles on camera until today! I had him in the crazy baby sling contraption and I caught that little smile!
with his arms and legs dangling while he is passed out.
Tyler is growing every day! He was scrawny a few days after birth since he had lost so much weight but now he is back on track with his weight gain.

I feel like already Tyler's sweet little face has changed so much. His cheeks are chubbier than they were when he was born. After birth he lost quite a bit of weight and now he has gained it all back plus 1 ounce. I am happy that he is growing and healthy. He loves to sleep with his hands right next to his face, which is just how he was when we saw him via ultrasound in the womb every time!
Tyler's first outing
We went to get Tyler's hand and footprints made in ceramic this past Saturday. He did a great job cooperating to let us get his hands and feet imprinted. It was the first time we had taken him out other than to the doctor or other errands. It is a memory that we will have forever once we get the imprints back!
