Fuzzy and feathered visitors

Tyler's babysitter Lana has bunnies, ducks, a goat, sheep and horses... Today Tyler was out with Lana and when she dropped him off at home, they had a duck and two bunnies with them! My iPhone didn't take great pics but I did get a few on the 5d so hopefully one day I can get some of those on here! What a fun day for Tyler!

Horsies!

Yesterday Tyler and I went to South Coast Plaza. I had to find something to wear for my Grandma's funeral. My Mom also Was there so we met up. We took Tyler on the carousel, he loved it!

I'm back!

Ok, so it's been seriously waaaaaaay too long since I sort of abandoned this blog. Ironically, after I got my fancy camera, it became a whole "thing" to post stuff on the blog... That combined with lots of changes going on at work, meaning me working a lot more, translated into me not blogging at all! :(

Well, hopefully now that has all changed! Scott got me a new iPhone and last night I found an app that let's me post to this blog right from my phone! This changes everything! In fact, as I type this, I am sitting in the chair at the dentist having my teeth cleaned! The beauty of technology!

Tyler & Tatum

This past Sunday, Tyler & Tatum had a play date! The Tooley's (Jackie, Jarrett & Tatum) came over to our house and it was so much fun to see the similarities between Tyler & Tatum! For those of you who may not remember past photos of Tatum on the blog, Tatum was born only 3 days after Tyler! It is really amazing to see that they are so similar in their development. And they are both so cute!

This was really funny. Tyler kept opening the "laptop" and Tatum kept closing it. Over and over and over!

Jackie was reading stories to the babies but they couldn't decide on one book. They kept picking up new ones after a few pages.

Almost there!

Ok, so I ended up taking quite a long hiatus from the blog. It really was not entirely my fault. I had a string of technical issues that made it really hard for me to get any photos for the blog. And its no fun to have photoless blog posts! First my computer broke. And actually it still isn't fixed, amazingly. I really need to work on that. For the record, I am not a fan of Dell.... I have had nothing but problems with every Dell computer I have had. And then on top of it, once my photography class started, we use Mac computers in the class. And for whatever reason even though it should have been compatible, the external hard drive that I used for class that stored all of my images was not compatible with my PC at home. So I wasn't able to access ANY of my photos from home for the past few months for the duration of my class. And still, today, I cannot access them on this PC! Blaaaaahhhhhh! BUT, the great news is: I just bought a Mac laptop today! So once I get the software up and running and get everything ready on there I will be in business again! Yay!

I know it has been a while since my last post. This time, there is a good reason! My computer's motherboard died and I haven't had it for a few weeks now. I haven't been able to get into any of my photos or anything like that. I should have my laptop back this week!!! I will update asap once I can get through some pics!

Great Grandma & Grandpa

Last month, we got some new photos of Tyler with his Great Grandma & Great Grandpa. We cherish this time that he has with them. He may not remember them when he is older, so I try to take photos when I can! They just love Tyler so much, and it is apparent how much joy it brings to them when we all get together!

Tyler's buddy Bear is about 7 months older. It is fun to watch them grow together and see the different stages that they go through. This photo was taken several weeks before Joe & Julie had baby #2!

Now that Tyler is much more mobile on his own, he loves to play in his room! There is so much stuff in there to explore, and he really loves to dig through his toys and books. He also loves to grab onto the furniture in there and cruise around!

Auntie Rachel gave Tyler this fun toy. On the front is a big orange face. On the back, is a clear panel and inside there are a bunch of little things that Tyler can see when he moves it around.

Escaped! Tyler loves to crawl all over the whole house! If we want to keep him in one area, we have to either close the doors or put up a fence to contain him, otherwise he will go everywhere in the house.
